Arsenal's new signing scores a goal worthy of the Premier League on international duty

Whenever a club from England’s top tier signs a player from another country, one question is always asked: Can they hack the physicality of the Premier League ?

English football isn’t particularly classy, but it is rough, tough and demanding – and new players often find trouble adjusting.

In the summer, Arsenal signed Takuma Asano , a relatively unknown striker from the J1 League, and all the usual questions were asked.

Last night, the Japanese forward answered the one at the top of this story in style – as seen in the video above.

One happy man

In Japan’s World Cup qualifying clash against Thailand, Asano rounded off the 2-0 win in the 75th minute with an excellently taken goal.

Latching onto an over-the-top ball, the 21-year-old rides a KICK TO THE FACE, brushes off the defender and squeezes in a finish.

Brutal

Forget the final product, that man just took a punt to the boat race and looked completely unfazed.

So to answer the question: Can he do it on a cold Monday night in Stoke against Shawcross? The answer is most definitely yes.
